A Wizarding Experience

The Southwest Florida Symphony Orchestra will perform music from “Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone” at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 20, at the Barbara B. Mann Performing Arts Hall, as part of a video/movie experience.

The concert will feature the live symphony orchestra performing, to picture, every note from “Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone.” Audiences will be able to relive the magic of the film in high-definition on a 40-foot screen while hearing the orchestra perform John Williams’ score.  » Read more

It’s All About Your Health

To kick off the new year, the Sanibel Health Club will hold its 5th annual Community Fitness & Health Fair Saturday, Jan. 13, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The event will feature free demos, fitness evaluations, samples, refreshments and a silent auction.

All proceeds from the silent auction will go towards The Robert V. & Benjamin G. Miller Fund which provides camping experiences for special needs adults in Southwest Florida.  » Read more
