Very snazzy! The Hoppers are long time guests and bring 3 generations of family members with them every Thanksgiving!
We so enjoy seeing them. They are loyal to their condo also–always reserving 2D2 over a year in advance. Ocean’s Reach is their home on Sanibel. A perfect dream home!
Bill has forwarded a few pictures for us to share with you. Ocean’s Reach always welcomes shared photos, so our thanks to you!
Here are pictures of the Pelicans in the pelican tree just up the beach from Ocean’s Reach.
One morning I counted 80 Pelicans in the water just off shore in front of Ocean’s Reach.
Grand-daughter having fun!
Sanibel transportation can be fun!
Pictured is the Bramson family from Ann Arbor Michigan with their only transportation for the entire week. The family has been coming to Ocean’s Reach on Sanibel for the past two years and instead of renting a car they rent a tag along bike for their son and a bike with a carriage to transport groceries etc. They bring their own set of tail and headlights for the bikes, thus they are not deterred from going to restaurants at nighttime. To quote, “it is by far the best and most enjoyable way to see and travel the Island”.
Surely by now you can see how much it is possible to get out of even a short get-a-way and are ready to schedule your own! Give us a call and we can set it up.
And then there is Sunrise from the condo!
Jeff waiting for the sunset!
Always and impressive sunset!
Same day, same sunset, but facing East. Lots of shell washed up on the beach today.
Shells, shells, shells…everywhere!
Every year for the past 22 years the Jacaranda Restaurant has been hosting a golf tournament the first Sunday in December to benefit local charities. This year the tournament raised several thousands of dollars for F.I.S.H. Andy with last years teammates Brister DeCell and Dree Fausnau and new member John Shea, managed to shoot 11 under par for a third place finish. A great day on the course followed by an equally great meal provided by the Jacaranda.
Florida is definitely the place to be in the winter for fresh veggies, as Winter is the main growing season in Florida! This taste tempting vegetable garden is located in East Rocks on Sanibel.
If you are without space to grow your own, the Farmer’s Market on Sanibel can still make cooking fresh, not only possible, but fun!
Turn right at the intersection of Algiers and Camino del Mar until you can’t go any further. You will be at Ocean’s Reach on the beach! Algiers Lane will lead you to the beach side park by the name of Algiers Beach and past an old historic cemetery. But turn right first!
Everybody gets into the act because it is so exciting to celebrate the holidays at Ocean’s Reach!
Many owners at Ocean’s Reach (see pictured) are currently staying in their condo to prepare, redecorate, nip and tuck their condo into shape for our seasonal guests. You will enjoy the many improvements!
While on-site, we recruited many outstanding volunteers to “light up” our entry for the Christmas season!
Pictures from the framers market taken on November 15th.
At Tahitian Gardens every Sunday through season, there are over 30 vendors that will assist you with fresh ingredients for your condo cooking, as well as baked goods for Christmas and Thanksgiving meals.
Be sure and stop by and see all of the wonderful items for sale, including those beautiful brown eggs straight from the farm. It just doesn’t get more fresh than that!
