The WOW basket from Cheese Nook greeted honeymooners in our honeymoon suite. Sea shells and flowers decorated the master bedroom, and gift certificates from island favorites, Timbers, Jacaranda and Lazy Flamingo graced the dining room table along with monogrammed wine glasses. Here’s a toast to the bride and groom!
Sanibel weddings are always special and Ocean’s Reach was excited to take part in a very special ceremony this week. Amy and J.T. Britton renewed their wedding vows yesterday on our beach. We caught them practicing before they proceeded to the beach along with a pastor, witness and photographer. Congratulations Amy and J.T. after 16 wonderful, married years together.
This collector brought a little shade with her. The first step following shelling on the beach is cleaning your shells to remove sand and debris. Then remove any dead “critters” with a pair of tweezers, dental pic or coat hanger.
The new shelling station is a great way to enjoy the cleaning process.
Our guests staying in 1c3 could only say “fantastic” when describing our new shell station.
Shake off the sand on our new boardwalk located between buildings 1 & 2. A handicap accessible boardwalk is also available between buildings 3 & 4.
All are new and ready for our fall and winter guests!

What I Did This Summer!
Our daughter, Hannah, started third grade this week and just completed her first assignment, “What I Did This Summer”.
I thought you would enjoy her work product attached.
We had a terrific time this summer at Ocean’s Reach and are already finalizing our schedules for next summer’s vacation!
All the best from Kansas City!
