There seems to be very few of us that are not amazed by the beautiful dolphins. I recently came across a video taken at SeaWorld that someone posted on Youtube. Just in case you might have missed this, please take the time to view this video and watch the dolphins at SeaWorld Orlando’s Dolphin Cove, and hear what SeaWorlds trainers, educators and guests have to say about this remarkable new feat. I think it will be a pleasant experience!
I have had several house guests over the last few years and I thought I would share a few pictures of them and the special accommodations I have provided. The underneath of my home provides a safe environment for families raising their young. Pictured is a Mourning Dove sitting on her nest right underneath the back steps. She has raised her family here for the last several years. Also pictured is a cement column that is hollow at the top few inches. An Eastern Screech Owl has raised her family here for the last 5 years. Also nesting underneath last year was a Carolina Wren.
I was at Ocean’s Reach for 4 days the end of February to visit my friend and do some nature photography. Although I spent a lot of time at Ding Darling, the pond you cleared out near your picnic grove hosts many different kinds of birds and I didn’t have to travel very far to get some good shots.  I thought you might be interested in a few of the birds I found around your pond.
