Just 19 steps to the beach.Only one step from being yours.
…it was 19 below last night. Snowed yesterday with more expected tonight. Snow in the mountains is measured in feet this time of year.
From my 6th floor, west facing perch it looks a cold as it is at the moment, about 8 below. Even if you stare out the window real hard and squint, it’s impossible to imagine the white snow as white Ocean’s Reach beach sand.
It’s a park-like urban setting where I live, in Greenwood Village, Colorado. The sky is Cerulean blue and cloudless. I can cross-country ski in parks across the street. When Winter comes to Colorado we know it’ll be seven months before the spell is broken. Makes my visit to Ocean’s Reach in September so much more delicious!
Sigh…. Pick a Sanibel shell for me today!
