This season, join the SCCF Native Landscapes & Garden Center for a series of workshops highlighting the beauty, diversity, and versatility of our native island plants.
The next class in the series will be Holiday Decorations with Native Plants at 10:30 a.m. on Dec. 5 at the Native Landscapes and Garden Center.
In its inaugural year, the workshops are aimed at introducing novice and experienced plant lovers to unique ways of utilizing native plants and providing for our local wildlife. The workshops are all hands-on, so get ready to be creative and dig in!
All workshops take place at the SCCF Native Landscapes & Garden Center at the Bailey Homestead, 1300 Periwinkle Way, Sanibel.
Participants will be shown a variety of plants that lend a festive touch to your seasonal decorations. All materials to make a wreath or ornament will be provided, but feel free to bring your own favorite wreath or item to decorate.
