EARLY BIRD MEMBERSHIP SALES BEGIN FOR NEW SANIBEL RECREATION CENTER

Today, the City of Sanibel began selling early bird memberships to the new Sanibel Recreation Center, located at 3880 San-Cap Road. Recreation memberships will include the use of the weight room, tennis courts, skate park, pools, gymnasium, and all aerobic classes taught at the Senior Center as well as the Recreation Center. This also includes scheduled times for open walking, open gym, pick-up volleyball and basketball.

The Grand Opening and Dedication Ceremony for the new Sanibel Recreation Center will be held on December 1, 2007. Memberships to the facility can be purchased at the following times at the Recreation Center, prior to the grand opening:

Tuesday, November 20th 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Wednesday, November 21st 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Friday, November 23rd 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Saturday, November 24th 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
