2013 San-Cap Nature Calendar Features Image from Ocean’s Reach Guest, Don Thompson
Beautiful roseate spoonbills adorn the cover of this year’s annual nature calendar. But our favorite images are included on the June and February pages.
Wait no more! The 25th issue of this popular calendar is now available for purchase and features the work of Sanibel’s best known photographers and island guests including our own beloved Don Thompson whose photos were selected for two calendar pages!
Nine of the images were photographed inside the “Ding” Darling National Wildlife Refute. Thompson’s June nesting snowy plovers was taken on the beach!
Included with the winning photographs are photo narratives, shell sketches and turtle graphics. The calendar represents all of the nature of Sanibel-Captiva and is not only beautiful and collectible but educational as well.
Sales help benefit local conservation organizations including CROW, SCCF and “Ding” Darling. The calendar retails for $13.95 and is sold at the “Ding” Nature Store, Sanibel-Captiva Chamber of Commerce and by sending $15.95 to P.O. Box 356, Sanibel, FL 33957.
Congratulations Don! We hope you are headed our way soon to capture another winning photograph!

Thank you Andy and Dru.
We are doing well Dru. Better today since yesterday we made our reservation for two weeks at Ocean’s Reach in October. Now we just have to count the days until we get to relax and enjoy our home away from home.
Always willing to share what little photography knowledge I possess Andy.
See you soon.

Fantastic for all of us. Would you like some of our rain?

We would love some of your rain. I think here in Indy it has been over 3 weeks since we have any measurable rain.
Can we get some shells too?
