Elene Brown, who is from the Chicago area has been spending her winter at Ocean’s Reach for the last 25 plus years. On a day when the temperture is near zero in Chicago, Elene prepares for her morning walk.
Elene (Lanie) has been one of our all time favorite guests for a long, long time! I’m so glad that Ocean’s Reach is honoring her.
Would anybody like to venture a guess as to how young this tiny lady is? I have her permission to tell. She will be 92 this September. Yes. Ninety-two. Take another look. What she loses in heighth she picks up in age. 92 years of power living in her tiny 4′ 7.5″ frame. And she is a giggler, a partyer and a barrel full of fun.
We love you Elene!!
It’s great seeing Elene enjoying life at Sanibel. Her great outlook on life is wonderful! Wish we were there, too, instead of northern Wisconsin where it -24 degrees below zero this morning! Hope to see you this summer.
