The Calusa Blueway Paddling Festival, is being held October 23-November 1, 2009. This is a 10 day paddling festival with all sorts of activities ranging from speakers and instruction, to competitive races and tournaments. All of the events are held at public parks and campgrounds and other areas all along the Calusa Blueway Paddling Trail. This Festival is held to celebrate the 190 mile long saltwater trail that meanders along the Southwest Florida Gulf Coast.
