As you can see, kite flying on the beach is a lot of fun. The beach in front of  Ocean’s Reach is the perfect place to fly one as there very few kite eating trees close by. This is a sport that all ages can enjoy and is often taken seriously. The American Kitefliers Association is the largest association of kite enthusiasts in the world, with 4000 members in 38 countries.

Hi All!

As I was getting ready to go to work early this morning I had my TV tuned to our Connecticut state capital (Hartford) station for the news.
All of a sudden on came a picture of Oceans’ Reach with a teaser about a story that was coming on after the commercial break about hotels/condos in Florida that are already considering suing BP for the oil spill having a negative effect on their business.

They had about a 30 section piece that only showed Oceans Reach.They had some quick shots of the sign, building and property and some great shots of Andy at work at the front desk! I ran into another room where we had an old VCR/ TV and was able to tape the piece.

Good going OR! It seems that you are on the front line once again!!

I’ll have to get Andy’s autograph when I come down now that he is a national TV star!

Hopefully this horrible spill will stop before it reaches out beautiful Sanibel!
