Everyone has their favorite Sanibel shell and mine has changed over time. I once was entranced with olives – their shape, the shiny surface, the variety of markings. I collected enough to have a “jar of olives” which sits on the counter in my kitchen. Gin, anyone?
But I have moved on. Now, I’m smitten by the sunray venus. I have several in various sizes and colorations and like the sunrise, or a Sanibel sunset, everyone is individual. I’m wondering what shells are the favorite of other Sanibel visitors.
